Since 1989 we have been involved in the Occupational Health Software field. Starting with a DOS based application called OCHRE, we released the first version of Orchid in 1995. We now also provide application development for Fertility Centres and Orthopaedic departments within the NHS.

In 2008, CHI acquired all of the police software products previously sold by Cleaford Software. This includes well-known internationally used systems such as PAWS, TROP, BARX TAS, STOR, PETS and ARTS. These are all now rebranded under the CHIPS name.

Since then we have built up our customer base on good service and user friendly applications.
